How long have you held your current position?

28 years

How did you get to where you are today?

Hard work, dedication, and a willingness to learn job tasks.

What does a typical day look like in your role?

You will not have a clue what any day will look like. It all changes from day to day.

Are there any mentors or key figures who have influenced your career?

Hard to pick just one. There are a lot of people who have helped me along the way.

Can you share a specific project or accomplishment you’re particularly proud of?

Changing the interior lighting in the Corporate building to LED light bulbs and fixtures.

What challenges do you face in your work, and how do you overcome them?

Things I can’t figure out. There’s always someone to help me, or give me a hand.

What’s one piece of advice you would give to those starting in the field?

Expect the unexpected, it comes with the job.
